This rumour is probably true and is of high priority – here's why:
The National Salvation Front (NAS) in their recent press statement have said they remain committed to the cessation of hostility agreement (COHA and the initiated Sant Edigio peace negotiations with the South Sudan government to addressing the root causes of the conflict and finding everlasting solution. This rumor stating that they are planning to withdraw from the peace negotiations and wage war on the government is not true as per the statements on their website.

MODERATOR The National Salvation Front (NAS) and its partners in the South Sudan opposition movement alliance (SSOMA) in the negotiations with the South Sudan government in Rome had described the talks as a millstone and a path to genuine peace. However, this rumor claiming NAS is threatening to withdrew from the peace negotiations is unfounded
