There was fighting between the National Salvation Front and South Sudanese government soldiers in Ombaci, Otago, Loka, and Limba. Heavy explosions were heard in Yei town.

This rumour is confirmed true and is of high priority – here's why:
South Sudanese government soldiers (SSPDF) fought against the National Salvation Front (NAS) in Lasu Payam and Mitika areas on Friday and Saturday, resulting in the deaths of civilians as well as soldiers from both sides. In a separate incident, the warring parties also clashed in Loka Boma, leading into the massacre and kidnapping of civilians. One civilian who fled has said “Civilians near the combat zone in Loka Boma became targets of the SSPDF, a number of families were massacred, and 3 other individuals kidnapped." The security situation in these locations remains tense as most of the civilians fled the area to save their lives. The incident has been confirmed by survivor testimonies and a press release from the NAS but the government has not yet said anything.
